Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi says construction work on the multi-billion naira Kano-Kaduna section of the Lagos to Kano rail line has commenced.
The minister who disclosed this via his verified Twitter handle said worker had been deployed to site to begin construction on the rail project on Wednesday.
“On site, contractors move in for the commencement of the Kano-Kaduna section of the Lagos-Kano rail line.”
Though the minister did not provide further details, he went on to post pictures of contractors and trucks on the site.
