Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi state has recovered Covid-19, after testing negative for the virus.
The Governor confirmed the latest development in a statement he personally released on Friday.
He disclosed that his daughter and three of his close aides also tested negative for the virus
The Governor who is also the chairman of the South-East Governors’ Forum expressed profound gratitude to God for healing him from the rampaging pandemic.
He also thanked the people of the state for their fervent prayers which led to his quick recovery.
“I am indeed full of praises to God for His grace and healing powers and I’m also thankful to the people of Ebonyi State and Nigeria for their prayers and solidarity,” he said.
