President Muhammadu Buhari has endorsed the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the September 19 governorship election in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.
Chairman of the APC Caretaker Committee, Mai Malla Buni, disclosed this at the Presidential Villa after presenting Ize-Iyamu to the President.
According to him, Buhari gave his blessings to Ize-Iyamu at the event.
Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, who is leading the APC campaign in Edo, was also at the Presidential Villa with Buni and Ize-Iyamu.
The APC national leadership had come to the Presidential Villa to present the party’s candidate in the Edo gubernatorial election to Buhari.
