A building in the palace of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has been gutted by fire.
A source in the palace simply known as Ile Oodua said efforts were on to put the fire off.
He however said it was not too serious.
The fire had caused panic in the ancient Ife town.
The Administrative Officer of Osun State Fire Service, Fatai Aremu, confirmed the incident. He said they were on gound to take care of the situation.
