Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State on Sunday reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to guarantee the safety of lives and property in the state.
Ugwuanyi spoke as he visited the scene of the violent clash between security agencies and members of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), at Emene.
During his visit, residents of the area and the security agencies assured him that normalcy has returned, and that the place is calm.
