Nigeria records 100 new COVID-19 infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 100 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

The country also recorded three additional deaths from the rampaging virus.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 55, 005 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos state leading the pack with 39 cases, while FCT trailed with 22 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Sunday September 6, 2020 are contained below:

Ebonyi-6
Edo-3
Katsina-1
Ekiti-1
Bauchi-1
Nasarawa-1

The release further showed that a total of 43, 013 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,057 deaths so far.
