Nigeria records 188 new COVID-19 infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 188 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

The country also recorded one additional deaths from the rampaging virus.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 56, 017 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State leading the pack with 47 cases, while Enugu state trailed with 25 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Friday September 11, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 43, 998 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,076 deaths so far.
