Nigeria records 125 fresh COVID-19 infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 125 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 57, 849 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State recording 37 cases while Plateau state trailed with 18 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Thursday September 24, 2020 are contained below:

Oyo-3

Ondo-2
Edo-1

The release further showed that a total of 49, 098 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,102 so far.
