A former lawmaker in Zamfara state, Alhaji Manir Gidanjaja has defected back to the All Progressives Congress, APC, after dumping the party for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, 3 weeks ago. Gidanjaja while decamping, wept uncontrollably, begging to be re-accepted into the APC. After appeals from some party members on his behalf, he was re-accepted and recognized as a member of the party.
