Even with ongoing clearance operations by the military in the Northwest geopolitical zone, bandits have continued to unleash mayhem as some yet-to-be identified gunmen have abducted three persons in Dandume council of Katsina state.
Among the three persons allegedly abducted is the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Dantankari ‘A’ ward, Alhaji Safiu Dantankari.
A woman and her stepson were also abducted and as at the time of filing this report, their whereabouts remained unclear.
Police have not yet confirmed the incident as the spokesman of the Katsina Police Command, Gambo Isah could not respond to text messages sent to him.
