A 28-year-old man, one Nduka Anyanwu, who was arrested for impregnating two teenage sisters, aged 13 and 17 years, has claimed that the girls’ father gave him the permission to have carnal knowledge of the girls.
Anyanwu, who was arrested by the Gender Unit of the Lagos State Police Command, was said to have been sleeping with the two girls since they were in primary school.
The suspect was arrested on Monday after a pregnancy test that the girls’ mother insisted must be done on them showed they were pregnant.
Following the development, the girls confessed that Anyanwu had been sexually molesting them since they were in primary school.
However, Anyanwu, upon his arrest, told the police that he engaged the sisters in sex with the permission of their father, Christian Onyechi.
The girls’ father, Onyechi, was also arrested as part of investigations into the matter.
