Nigeria records 111 fresh COVID-19 infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 111 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 57, 724 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State recording 31 cases while Gombe state trailed with 18 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Wednesday September 23, 2020 are contained below:

Rivers-14
Imo-3
Kwara-3
Oyo-3
Bayelsa-2
Ogun-2
Edo-1
Osun-1

The release further showed that a total of 48, 985 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,102 so far.
