Nigeria records 126 fresh COVID-19 infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 126 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

The country also recorded three additional deaths from the rampaging virus.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 56, 604 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows FCT recording 37 cases while Lagos state trailed with 27 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Tuesday September 16, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 44, 872 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,091 deaths so far.
