Nigeria records 132 fresh COVID-19 infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 132 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

The country also recorded one additional death from the rampaging virus.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 56, 388 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State recording 52 cases while Gombe state trailed with 27 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Monday September 14, 2020 are contained below:

Kwara-10
Enugu-9
Ogun-9
Katsina-3
Ekiti-2
Bauchi-1
Osun-1
Rivers-1

The release further showed that a total of 44, 337 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,083 deaths so far.
