Nigeria records 155 new COVID-19 infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 155 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

The country also recorded four additional deaths from the rampaging virus.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 55, 160 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos state leading the pack with 42 cases, while Plateau trailed with 25 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Monday September 7, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 43, 231 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,061 deaths so far.
