Nigeria records 176 fresh COVID-19 infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 176 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 57, 613 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State recording 73 cases while Plateau state trailed with 50 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Tuesday September 22, 2020 are contained below:

Bauchi-1
Bayelsa-1

The release further showed that a total of 48, 836 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,100deaths so far.
