Nigeria records 321 new COVID-19 infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 321 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 52, 548 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos state leading with 98 cases, while FCT trailed with 34 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Monday August 24, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 39, 257 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1004 deaths so far.
