Nigeria records 97 fresh COVID-19 infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 97 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

The country also recorded three additional death from the rampaging virus.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 57, 242 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State recording 46 cases while Kwara state trailed with 12 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Sunday September 20, 2020 are contained below:

Ogun-4

Ekiti-3

Plateau-2

The release further showed that a total of 48, 569 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,098 deaths so far.
